Any internet-capable mobile device (smart phones, tablets, iPads, iPhones, etc.) can access trauma resource availability data in the field. The default configuration has native capability to integrate with existing databases through standard, secure web service protocols.

Healthcare Pulse Platform
This application provides robust survey functionality targeted to critical healthcare facilities. Its unique design allows integration with existing databases through standard, secure web service protocols. This allows survey results to be linked to individual facilities securely in real time, avoiding the “siloing” of information characteristic of stand-alone survey management systems. It accommodates the full range of question types and output to spreadsheets and other files types for robust analysis. The underlying XML infrastructure allows easy integration with other systems to collect and pass data and results. The default configuration allows data to be transmitted to the US Department of Health and Human Services as part of the Hospital Preparedness and Pandemic Flu programs.

Medical Operations Tracking Module
This application module provides the ability for Medical Special Needs shelters (or other types of shelters) to provide daily reports to incident command stand. A web-based application, the module allows end users to report census and staffing levels based on user-defined shift levels. Robust reporting gives incident management staff the ability to configure a variety of detailed and summary reports. The module has the ability to integrate with Comtec’sComprehensive User Management module to allow single sign-on capability for organizations using multiple Comtec modules.

Grant Management Module
This application module provides functionality to capture variety of information related to grants with the following capabilities:

1. This has the capability to assign roles for each type of user so that users can only view specific data as assigned by administrator. For example: facility, regional, state administrator.
2. Ability to separate grants by organization and grant type. For Example: Organization: EMS / Hospital, Grant Type: Traditional …etc.
   
3. Ability to filter data by type of user so users can create reports only for the information they have access to.
   
4. Display the “amount spent” on the “grant expenditure” tabs for all users not just the administrator user.
   
5. Ability to create ad hoc reports. Ex: number of vents, beds, etc purchased by region.
   
6. The ability to add additional information in the system such as the tracking number, model and serial number of item so they facilities can track grant purchases. Facilities should also be able to view and print tracking spreadsheet including all the grant years.
   
7. Ability to lock the system so users cannot add information once it has been approved by HHS grant staff and when a facility has been given a “0” dollar amount.
